St. Louis Restaurant Foundation will benefit local families and struggling restaurants.
ST LOUIS, MO (StLouisWeb.Design) We have participated in the creation of the St. Louis Restaurant Foundation, which was created to honor a founding member, and help struggling restaurants and families in the St. Louis region.
Funds will be raised by donations, a GoFundMe page, restaurants participating in a roundup campaign, and grants from other foundations.
It has been filed with the Missouri Secretary of State but now needs to be filed with the IRS for 501 (c) 3 status.
Operations will hopefully begin by the end of July. The objective is to get it processed and approved as soon as possible to start raising money for the stated purposes in anticipation of a slowing economy and possible lockdowns in fall and winter as the holiday seasons approach.
Complete details will be released soon as we mention the “Honorary Founding Member,” 501 (c) 3 status approved, and appointment of the board of directors.
WebTech is the Editor in Chief of St. Louis Restaurant Review. The foundation will serve multiple objectives and benefit the community. First, we will use St. Louis Restaurant Review to assist in fundraising.
