ST LOUIS, MO (StLouisWeb.Design) WebTech Group purchased the domain name STL.News on February 29, 2016. Shortly after buying the domain, we launched the news site publishing local news, later publishing AP News, and then created our network of news aggregators from reliable sources. We call it “Direct Source News.”
Our primary aggregator is DirectSourceNews.org, which aggregates news from reliable sources, including the White House, the US Department of Justice, and many, many more.
We have published hundreds of thousands of news stories. Today, the site holds more than 9,000 news articles and hundreds of news videos for your viewing pleasure.
We have a much larger vision to produce and publish reliable news that is not filtered or biased that civilians can rely on. We will continue this mission.
This projects’ growth is limited due to many priorities. Funds are vital to our growth because we do not produce any ad revenue. We prefer never to generate ad revenue because the vision is to make an ad-free news site, free of conflicts, that is not biased and focuses on reporting reliable news in a timely manner.
Currently, we publish 50-100 news articles per day. However, there are thousands of news articles each day that we miss due to our financial limits.
Our only source of revenue is guest posts and press release distribution, which comes in small numbers.
